A Good Reason For Providing A Blog There are good reasons why this blog is here. It is for you to share your ideas, aspirations and further assist the creation of beauty in horsemanship for the greater benefit for all. Through a series of connected thoughts, ideas and choices there exists unlimited potential to assist in horsemanship’s growth. This potential helps horsemanship to become more clearly defined through better understanding. A consequence of that potential is horsemanship taking up its rightful position as being wholesomely good, honest and artistic. Where there is a will there is a way for the solid foundation of horsemanship to take its rightful place in human society, even and especially in today’s climate of absolute uncertainty. I personally feel that most horse people have something to offer that is valuable to the whole community at large, and I would very much like for all of us to be a part of sharing that. I have questioned my place as a pioneer in helping to bring the art of horsemanship back to equestrians. I realized that an oath, I have taken, which is to share with others the knowledge I have been given from my human teachers and horses alike, may not be given up or abandoned. Those enlightened teachers who gave their knowledge, their time and passed on their skill to me have to live on for the greater good of all horsemanship; many hours have been gifted to me by those great teachers. There have been times the equestrian world at large proved difficult for me, as a horseman I learned that it should not defeat me. I must learn to do things better, become a better person because of it, and to assist others on their journey in horsemanship and themselves. Through this journey I have learned that choices we make have a strong probability of similarly existing in others’ thoughts as well. Eventually those thoughts and ideas become ways to share a common goal for the good of all, in our case horse people. The commonality of purpose gives those thoughts and ideas a direction towards joining with choices from other horsemen, this enables horsemanship to continue to grow and develop. I understand that the more choices through the offering of ideas and the propagating of sound reasons that are shared, the greater the probability more good will continue to grow. There is a reason why thoughts, ideas and choices from people connected with horses can alter the knowledge field of horsemanship, they connect with other horse peoples’ thinking. Once these thoughts, ideas and choices reach a level that touches many minds, those thoughts become a reason and a path for others to follow. This blog is offering to horse people an avenue to express their views and share their experiences for the common good of horsemanship. Send your thoughts as you read this blog. Share your happy and not so happy moments that you have experienced with your horses. I invite you to be a part of a better and greater world of horsemanship, one where we consider all living beings. We are all valuable contributors and together we are able build quality horsemanship.
